Job Description
Solidus seeks a Software Developer to support the development of a sensor system for surveillance applications. The successful candidate will join a group that conducts systems analysis on a broad range of problems related to surface surveillance, force protection, and homeland defense. Activities include sensor and system modeling, mission requirements analysis, and architecture development. A variety of technologies are examined, including radar, optical, acoustic, biological, and chemical sensors. Modeling and the analysis of field measurements are used to quantify the ability of current and proposed technology to meet mission requirements. 

- Domains: Embedded software design, development, debug, and support staff in designing, developing, and supporting technical programs utilizing software engineering best practices and tools
- Participate in defining, describing and implementing program deliverables/functionalities
- Work in a team environment to achieve project goals and milestones

- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- PhD plus 5 years minimum experience, or MS plus 8 years minimum experience
- Embedded software development in C/C++ for the ARM Cortex M family of processor SPI/I2C/USART bus programming
- Debug experience STMCube for STM32 family of processors IAR Embedded Workbench
- Experience with FreeRTOS 
- Embedded C programming without an OS Multithreaded application development including interrupt handling 

Additionally Desired:
- Low size, weight, and power applications
- High throughput/high reliability communications
- Experience using Git Source Code Management software or equivalent
