Job Description
Solidus is searching for System Administrator Cyber Security.

Work Scope:
- Interacting with established tools, such IBM BigFix to become familiar with reporting capabilities
- Utilization of vulnerability reporting tools and assisting Group-based Information Technology (IT) teams in remediation activities
- Possess technical depth with multiple Operating Systems (OS) (Windows, Mac, Linux)

This position will maintain frequent contact with multiple IT support teams and end users to maintain communications related to compliance, problem resolution, and associated services
- Develop and provide security metrics to track systems status, vulnerabilities, risks, and efforts to effect process or system improvements.
- Review program reports, and provide remediation support to the technical staff as needed.
- Coordinate with other security departments and contractors on security-related initiatives and programs.
- Perform all related duties as assigned.
- US Citizen and Able to Obtain Active Secret Clearance
- BS or Associates degree and at least 1 Certification
- At least 5 years of applicable experience
- Excellent customer service skills and exceptional facing skills
- Excellent communication (both oral and writing) and organization skills
- Hands on experience with Tenable Security Center
- Hands on experience with vulnerability remediation across multiple Operating System (OS) platforms
- Working knowledge of IT security best practices as well as a high degree of troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
- Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Ability to learn new technologies and disciplines quickly
- Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Perform in a fast-paced environment at times with minimal supervision and execute project and administrative tasks with a high degree of quality, while following existing processes and establishing new operational procedures and best practices
- Ability to work with members of other teams and staff to achieve department and organizational goals
- Developing, debugging, and executing software in a Windows, Mac and Linux environment

Skills Preferred:
- Input:  ITIL Foundations Certification
- Experience with IBM BigFix
- Scripting experience as well as experience with task automation (e.g. server installation, patch management, configuration)
