Job Description
Solidus is searching for a FPGA Design Engineer.

Support is required to assist with board bring-up and design of custom interfaces to an array of Camera, ADC, and DAC hardware for internal prototype system development.  The Engineer will implement high speed data protocols including Ethernet (1/10/40Gb), as well as translating and implementing VHDL algorithms from Matlab to VHDL (or Verilog). Additional responsibilities will also include developing C/C++ embedded control to interface with FPGA device.
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- MS plus 3 years minimum experience or a BS plus 5 years minimum experience
- VHDL FPGA design experience

Experience with
    - Xilinx design tools including ISE and Vivado with 7 series FPGAS
    - FPGA timing closure
    - Verification test bench design using ModelSim
    - FPGA design with implementing hardware interfaces
    - Data protocols PCIe/1Gbe/10Gbe/CameraLink
    - C/C++ embedded programming
    - Source control with Subversion
    - Implementing signal processing algorithms from provided reference designs
    - Working knowledge of Matlab tools

Skills Preferred:

Experience with:
    - Xilinx Zynq FPGAS
    - TCL scripting for Xilinx tools
    - IR/Visible camera interfaces
    - USRP systems
    - Linux
