Job Description
Solidus is searching for a Build/Release Engineer.

We are seeking an individual to work within a team of software developers on several software projects. These projects involve frequent releases and patches to support mission needs. The primary responsibilities of this position are the development, monitoring, support and deployment of the build systems, environments and software. This includes bundling, deployment and test coordination of releases as well as capturing change logs/release notes and accuracy of documentation and final configuration management. Expectation of the position is that improving existing build and release processes through increased automation, continuous integration/deployment and enhancing automated testing. Depending on skill set and desires of the engineer, some algorithm development work could be included. This position will be in a supporting role to the SW and system architects.
Requirements:
- US Citizen and able to obtain a Secret DoD Security Clearance.  Candidates with current or previous security clearances desirable.
- BS in Computer Science or related discipline with 5 or more years of experience
- Software will be constructed primarily in Java and run on a cluster of Linux computers
- Java software development skills and large scale software experience are desired
- Experience with software builds deploying JavaScript desirable
- Experience with a any of the following technologies is desirable:  ANT, IVY, Maven, Hudson, Jenkins, Subversion, GIT, Bamboo, BitBucket, Fisheye, Gulp, Grunt, Node.js, Npm and Teamforge
- Must have ability to complete assignments working independently and in a team environment, and effectively present results
