Job Description
Solidus is searching for a Systems Analyst to provide expertise on a variety of energy technologies and methods to provide resilience for critical missions on DoD installations. The candidate will work with a multi-disciplinary team to define top-level system requirements, specific implementation options, analyze vulnerabilities in candidate systems, perform site visits, and help design operational readiness exercises.

- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- MS with 3+ years of experience in physics, math, computer science, mechanical, or electrical engineering with coursework and research emphasis on systems thinking or systems analysis is required
- BS, 5+ years of relevant experience is acceptable
- Familiar with electrical distribution systems, power systems architectures, or cyber security for industrial control systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams

Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, or python
- Hands-on experience with power systems, electrical backup generation topologies, and control systems for islanded operation
- Familiarity with electric power system terms and concepts (real and reactive power flow, power factor correction, balanced and unbalanced 3-phase loads)
