The Sales Account Specialist is an important part of the team that works with the District Sales Representative servicing all aspects of our relationships with existing accounts. This entry level sales position is will assist and help execute the territory plan for specific client accounts and must be comfortable in healthcare facilities including clinical areas within hospital and or long term care facilities. Our Sales Account Specialist is responsible for developing expertise in our products and assists in areas including delivery and set-up, staff education, problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise with the client. The Sales Account Specialist will also assist in developing and delivering sales information/presentations and be responsible for sales growth within these accounts.

 Key Accountabilities include:

  • Service existing accounts. Tracking orders and equipment utilized and works closely with the local operations team by assisting with delivery, set-up and in-servicing/education.
  • Strategically targets increasing sales and upselling in existing accounts. Providing product knowledge and education to current contacts and developing new contacts and presenting new and or Sizewise products not currently being used.
  • Address customer complaint/concerns and resolve problems by developing solutions.
  • Work with our internal sales support team as needed to provide quotes and reports to clients. Resolve lost or damaged equipment issues and assist with order, billing or invoice issues.
  • Learns and maintains knowledge of all Sizewise products and services and understanding of competitive products.
  • Maintains Sizewise trainings and working knowledge of company policy and procedures.

 Key Skills:

  • Ability to make compelling presentations to a variety of audiences using visual aids, slide shows, and other media. Is adept at getting the attention and involvement of the most sophisticated and difficult audiences;
  • Ability to develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships. Successfully manages customer expectations;
  • Adeptly explains features, benefits, and technical aspects of the full product line.  Demonstrates expert knowledge of the competitive market;
  • Closes the sale by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.
  • Demonstrate ability to grow, develop and advance professionally in knowledge and skill set.

 Required Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s Degree or 2 year relevant experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain DOT certification
  • Desire to continuously improve skills and increase sales knowledge
  • Skilled at using database, spreadsheet, word-processing and presentation software, particularly those in Microsoft Office, to facilitate daily work, make public presentations and prepare reports.

 

*This is a salary plus commission role
*The goal of this position is personnel development and progression toward a District Sales Representative role.  Timeline of that possible transition is to be determined by performance, company needs, and opportunity available.
