Position is located in Hays, KS
Hours:  2pm - 6pm (Monday-Friday) *Negotiable on Days Available to Work**

Job Duties:

-Responsible for completing various production related tasks including but not limited to operating equipment/machines (Robotic Welder, CNC machine, Press Brake, Drill Press, Pipe Bender, etc.)

-Assist with finishing products (Grind, sand, deburr, trim, scrape, clean, polish using various hand/power tools)

-Reporting any issues with product or equipment to supervisor.

-Prepare and load raw materials into production machinery, monitor production process/machines to ensure all is running correctly, carry out basic quality and testing checks, and store goods properly in the warehouse.

-Understand specifications desired according to work orders relayed and ensure proper dimensions and standards are met.

-Maintain inventory of product; deliver materials and supplies to/from storage and work stations; identifying, labeling and placing materials and supplies in stock.

Maintains a safe working environment by attending safety training; turning off and locking out equipment not in use; cleaning and maintaining a clean work area. adhering to ISO and FDA regulations

-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing all other duties as assigned by superiors in order to contribute to the overall success of the company.

Job Qualifications:

-Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

-Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.

-Ability to lift up to 75 pounds required.

-Strong work ethic and organizational skills

-Able to multi-task

-Basic computer skills

-Ability to follow instructions to read work orders in order to determine work assignments or materials or equipment needs

-Ability to become a Certified Forklift Operator.

-Ability to stand for long periods of time.

-Ability to become qualified to perform Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.

-Understanding of various production related machinery in order to complete various daily tasks.

-Ability to work with limited supervision; self-starter.

-High School Diploma or equivalent. 

-Past experience working in a production environment preferred
