The Sales Account Manager will utilize clinical and/or business expertise to drive sales of the portfolio of products as well as staff education in targeted accounts. This individual will support and execute against the District Sales Representative‚Äôs (DSR) business plan by working closely with the field team including Regional Manager (RM), DSR, and Operation Team. The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with accounts by visiting hospitals, academic medical centers, long term care and rehabilitative centers within the assigned territory. In partnership with the RM, the incumbent is responsible for identifying and developing relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers across the assigned region while selling medical equipment to customers and acting as the point of contact for post-sale, service satisfaction, retention, and business growth.  This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take their sales career from an entry level role to the next step. 

 

Job Duties:

- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors; setting and reaching established goals; assist sales team in reaching revenue goals.

- Assist in the delivery and setup of equipment as necessary to ensure excellent service to customers.

- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of responsibilities and functions of facility representative.

- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

- Accomplish company and organizational mission by contributing to team effort and handling other duties as assigned to assist in the overall success of the company.

Job Qualifications:
- Skilled at using database, spreadsheet, word-processing and presentation software, particularly those in Microsoft Office, to facilitate daily work, make public presentations and prepare reports.

- Makes compelling presentations to a variety of audiences using visual aids, slide shows, and other media. Is adept at getting the attention and involvement of the most sophisticated and difficult audiences.

- Ability to develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships. Successfully manages customer expectations.

- Track record of successful negotiation with the most skilled or resistant groups. Establishes common ground and focuses on win-win outcomes while gaining concessions and protecting organizational interests.

- Adeptly explains features, benefits, and technical aspects of the full product line. Demonstrates expert knowledge of the competitive market.

- Closes the sale by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.

- Exudes self-confidence and inspires confidence in others.

Education/Experience:
Associate Degree and/or 3 years relevant experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must be able to attain DOT certification and Homecare credentialing
