Activity Coordinator:
Looking for a Activity Coordinator with experience providing individual/group therapeutic activities for patients in a mental health, substance abuse or co-occurring setting. Skilled in crisis intervention, communication and documentation. Committed to providing a therapeutic environment, meticulous documentation, and collaborative care for all patients.
What you will do.
Coordinate with Behavioral Health Tech and Nursing staff to establish a weekly schedule of group activities, psycho-educational groups, motivational groups, and arts/craft activities for Acute Care patients.
Provides meaningful training, education, and group activities with patients.
Assists and maintains the development of the rehabilitative programming for the unit.

Additional Requirements:
Successful pre-employment medical screening (drug test & TB)
Level 2 Background Screening (DCF & AHCA)
Completion of all required training
HS diploma and 5 years of experience in a human service field OR BA/BS in a human service field. Experience developing activities or facilitating individual/group therapeutic activities preferred. Experience documenting in a clinical record also preferred.
