Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Full time Appointment Assistant Manager for our Outpatient Psychiatry program!

This is a responsible supervisory position with a great deal of internal and external customer contact, with the expectation of a smooth running office. This is a working manager position that requires a great deal of patient contact and supervising staff.  Must exercise independent judgment, strong leadership, problem-solving and demonstrate specific departmental as well as general agency knowledge. 

Effectively supervises all aspects of the Customer Care Representative Staff assigned to the Check in Desk, Check Out Desk and Referral Specialist positions.  Recruits, screens, trains, and recommends the hiring of personnel in compliance with SalusCare policies.  Supervises the orientation of new employees, as well as ongoing training, and conducts meaningful performance appraisals in an ongoing and timely manner.

Must have a high school diploma with at least 3 years of prior customer service experience (preferably in the healthcare field) required.

Some leadership experience required!

Job Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma with at least three (3) years of prior customer service experience (preferably in the healthcare field) required. Minimum one-year supervisory experience preferred though not required. However, some leadership experience is required. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and be able to attain competency with the company electronic medical record. Must possess and routinely demonstrate exceptional customer service, time management, organization, and communication skills.
