Human Resources Officer - Employee Relations & Recruitment

Major Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Officer provides administrative and recruitment support to the HR Business Partner, assisting with the day-to-day execution of HR tasks across the Bank. This role plays a vital part in coordinating routine HR activities, ensuring compliance with the Bank's policies and local regulations. The HR Officer helps facilitate recruitment processes and general HR operations, contributing to the smooth delivery of HR services to business units.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to support the recruitment of experienced staff through use of job fairs, strategic sourcing and focused advertising.
  • Maintains a talent pool of qualified applicants and liaise with HR Business Partners to ensure that vacancies are filled on a timely basis.
  • Assists with strategic planning by analyzing internal recruiting trends and external industry and market trends and makes sound recommendations to the annual recruitment plan.
  • Assists with the preparation of required onboarding documentation.
  • Oversees the background security clearance of all applicants ensuring the timely and accurate submission of security clearance requests to the vendor; and files are returned.
  • Prepares and submits accurate monthly recruitment statistical reporting.
  • Ensures confidentiality of HR data (paper and data files).
  • Assists with timely preparation of approved letters to employees.
  • Assists the department with the implementation and administration of any Talent Management, Employee Engagement and Health & Wellness initiatives.

 


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Associate's in Business Management, Human Resources, Industrial and Organizational Development or related study.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Human Resources
  • aPHRi or other relevant HR certification
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and act professionally while using good judgment.
  • Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
