IT Governance Administrator

Major Responsibilities:

The IT Governance Administrator supports the Bank’s efforts to maintain a compliant technology control environment. This role ensures that IT operations and projects adhere to established governance standards, policies, and regulatory frameworks.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support the development and maintenance of the Bank's IT governance and compliance framework
  • Maintain IT risk registers, coordinate internal and external audits, and track remediation and compliance activities 
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports that measure compliance with cybersecurity, business continuity and vendor management requirements under the direction of the IT Governance Manager
  • Manage documentation repositories and ensure timely policy updates
  • Support the review of risk assessments for key technology initiatives and new systems
  • Facilitate meetings with Enterprise Risk, Audit, and other teams, maintaining documentation and evidence of control reviews
  • Prepare reports for submissions for regulators, committees and Senior management

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The incumbent must demonstrate the following knowledge & skills.  

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations or related technical support role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field and relevant certifications.
  • Strong understanding of IT risk and compliance principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
